I got snow working quite well, might ended up into bugged/out of designed parameter range so tunnels became slight issue, but as I modified Mammoth Valley, it really started to be like snow instead of flat white stuff. Just replacing textures and setting ground parameter to have less grip is not making proper snow, to make proper snow, you really need to edit depth maps, shape terrain for appearance of proper snow build up, adjust mud ground model to achieve snow like performance, it is doable, but it is really going to take lot of effort, pretty close to building level from scratch, layout design, some roads and objects can be re-used, but all the lengthy terrain editing needs to be done by hand, it is like crafting most of the terrain by hand.Īll ditches and road side areas need to be adjusted by hand. Click to expand.I think that it may take quite bit of time to place all snowmen etc, then when it is done few times over with Halloween and Winter event, it kind of starts to wear off, repeating same is not working for too long and then they would put more time to refresh events, which might take way too much time.
